Hosting
This website is hosted with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-central-1 region (Frankfurt am Main, Germany). Content is delivered via Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront. All content is stored and served within the European Union. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
Server Log Files
When you access this website, your IP address is processed technically in order to deliver the requested content to your device. This access data is not stored permanently in log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technical delivery and secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Fonts
This website uses only fonts stored locally on our own server. No fonts are loaded from external servers (such as Google Fonts) when the website is accessed. Your IP address is not transmitted to any third party for the purpose of displaying fonts.
Web Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). GA4 helps us understand how visitors use this website.
GA4 scripts are loaded only after you have given your explicit consent. Without consent, no analytics takes place and no corresponding scripts or cookies are loaded.
When analytics is active, your IP address is truncated by the IP anonymisation function (anonymize_ip) before any further processing. The full IP address is not processed.
In the course of processing, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. This transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
The user-level data collected via Google Analytics is automatically deleted after two months.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To withdraw, use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies without your consent. To store your decision regarding web analytics, we place a single entry in your browser's local storage (named nb_consent). This entry contains only your consent decision and a timestamp, serves solely to implement your choice and is not used for tracking purposes. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you have consented to web analytics.

If you contact us using the email addresses provided on this website, we process the data you transmit (in particular your name, email address and the content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The website itself does not collect, store or transmit any data in this process; communication takes place directly via your own email client. Depending on the nature of your enquiry, the legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your Rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
